Who we are What we do Contact

Clean water is just the first step.

Thanks to you, our work has grown into something bigger. Now, we are opening the door to self-sustaining prosperity for villages across West Africa, Latin America, and the Southern US.

Join us as we help our neighbors build stable, healthy communities.

The impact of your support:

In 2026, our board completed an audit of our past work to better understand the impact our donors and volunteers have had on the communities we serve. Here’s a conservative accounting of what we found:

Where it all began

Our longest running program has been our WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) initiative. We align with the WASH guidance provided by UNICEF, WHO, UN-Water, and a range of global collaborators who establish and maintain best standards and practices for delivering clean water to all. Our wells, filtration systems and sanitation stations are funded by a wide range of donors and project partners. These wells are maintained and upgraded by our team as need arises, with the intent to provide a consistent supply of clean water for generations.

Water is life

The amount of water you’ve helped us provide is impossible to ignore and it’s almost all produced from subsaharan wells, sometimes miles from the nearest clean water source. This water is doing far more than quenching thirst. Access to wells prevents women and children from walking hours a day to carry jugs to the nearest supply, enabling education, and financial independence. This water flows through irrigation pipes into fields that once struggled to feed a village, now producing enough crops to take to market.

Clean water prevents some of the worst diseases known to man.

Trees planted

Strong roots

One of our funded project partners, the late Pastor Joseph, was directly responsible for over 100,000 trees planted during his regreening projects. His example and extreme enthusiasm for restoring the beauty and health of his West African community inspired our board to permanently add regreening efforts to the core pillars of our work. Replacing native shade tree canopies lost due to ill-advised development or environmental stressors directly improves quality of life for generations, with minimal investment.

Our current tree count provides around 2,500 acres of shade. Our near-term goal is 4,000 acres of shaded community space, equivalent to approximately a quarter million trees.

We are 62.5% of the way there.

Investing in our future

In 2026, Senegalese village elders and elected officials invited our executive team to discuss the development of a new school to help address the lack of education access in the Thiès region. We are presently raising funds for the completion of Phase 1 of our West African campus expansion to include elementary and adult remedial classrooms, with a trade school expansion to immediately follow, dramatically expanding the workforce development capacity of the region.

With your help, our school renovation & development efforts are now expanding to West Africa, building on our experience in Brazil and Ukraine.

Small businesses, huge ripple effects

Business plans, finance strategy, market access, navigating government resources; a multitude of hurdles stand between a business and success. In historically impoverished communities, these hurdles can seem insurmountable without help. Every small business supported by our team of staff and volunteer consultants gets the same level of attention regardless of size, location, or the complexity of their problem.

Grant applications supported

Opening doors to outside funding

Winning government or institutional grants requires an experienced team, not only to write the grant application, but to advise on the often complex reporting requirements that come in the years following a win. Our team pulls alongside partner orgs to help these crucially important community organizations to identify and win the funding they need to expand their reach and better serve their mission.
